The winery, Cantina Sociale del Canavese was founded in Cuceglio, Italy, in 1960. It derives its name from the territory Canavese were Cuceglio is located. Canavese is a region in between Turin and Ivrea, which has a rich history of the art of wine making process.

QUALITY IN GROWING THE VINEYARDS
Precision in wine making

The winery consists of approximately 200 families who bring their grapes to the Cantina. Through the years, the grape growing process has continued to improve and evolve. Every year each of these families adheres to a precise quality control process when cultivating their vineyards. The same quality control is applied in the wine making process. As a matter of fact, the Cantina uses the most up to date equipment combined with the highest level of professionalism provided by our oenologist, the wine expert. He systematically checks the transformation of simple grape juice into the superior wines we produce.

These wines represent the best reds and whites produced in this particular zone of Piedmont, called Canavese, which is among the hills and the natural “Morenico” amphitheatre.

The Cantina Sociale del Canavese is a destination that integrates perfectly with other tourist attractions of the area (the castles, the Parco Nazionale del Gran Paradiso, the lakes). It also offers other important suggestions relating to wine and food parings, history, nature and wine culture; all transmitted through a glass of wine. All this is made possible because of the people who have dedicated their lives to the wine.
